On the occasion of Mother’s Day, I would like to pay my humble tribute to all mothers. In our lives, mothers play a very significant role in upbringing children.

Mothers are God’s best gift to mankind and without them a huge vacuum is created in a person’s life. Mothers are children’s first school where they learn morals and manners. Mothers are a symbol of love and forgiveness. They are selfless and full of generosity. While paying my tribute to mothers, allow me to share a loose English translation of an Urdu poem:

A mother finds peace only after her soul departs for the eternal world, even when they are young, they look old as they spend all time of their lives worrying about and meeting the needs of their children and family.

We should always treat our mothers with love and affection.

Mother’s day is a celebration in honour of our mothers and motherhood — and is celebrated in the month of May.

Mothers play a very significant role in upbringing their children, which can’t be compared and is an unforgettable experience that can’t be compensated by any means.

Mothers are God’s great gift to mankind and without them there will be a great vacuum in our life. When a child is born the contribution of mother is full of sacrifices and unparalleled. They are children’s first school where they learn things about moral character and manners.

Their heart is deep abyss at the bottom of which you will always find forgiveness. Mother is rightly described as epitome of selfless and self-sacrificing love, strength, composure, humility and generosity.

Today in the globalised world we have converted Mothers Day as a social event than the day for love and affection for them. We should provide our mothers with great love, affection and personal care and that is our divine obligation.

Mother’s Day is a celebration in honor of our mothers and motherhood and this year it will be celebrated on May 13. In our life mothers play a very significant role in upbringing children which can’t be compensated by any means.

Mothers are God’s great gift to mankind and without them there will be a great vacuum in our life. Some learned person rightly described mother as epitome of selfless and self-sacrificing love, strength, composure, humility and generosity.

For the readers I wish to quote few lines from an Urdu poem paying tribute to mothers, “maut ke aagosh mein jab so jati hai ma, jab ma tab jake thoda sa sukun pati hai ma, bachcho and pariwar ke fikar mein kuch assi kho jati hai ma ki naujawan hote hue bhi budhi nazar aati hai ma” (a mother finds peace only after her soul departs, even when mothers are young they still look old as they spend all their time worrying and meeting the needs of children and family).

Today in a globalized world we have converted Mother’s Day as a social event than the day for love and affection for mothers. We should provide our mothers with great love, affection and personal care in their last days of life when they are very old and bed ridden and earn their blessings.

As a tribute were paid to mothers on Mother’s Day yesterday. I’d like to pay my tribute to all mothers, especially my own mother who was indeed a great blessing. From the time her child is born, a mother nurtures hi,/her until her last breath.

This is brilliantly captured by this Urdu poem : Maut ke aagosh mein jab so jati hain, Ma tab jake kahi thoda sa sukun pati hai ma, Bachcho aur pure pariwar ke fikar mein kuch aissi gul jati ha ma ki navjawan hote hye bhi budi nazar ati hai ma( A mother finds peace only after her soul departs, all until then she spends all her life worrying and meeting the needs of her children and family)

My humble tributes to all mothers

I would like to pay my humble tributes to all mothers and especially to my mother who died of cancer recently.

Mothers are God’s best gift to mankind and without her there is a great vacuum in life. Mothers are children’s first school where they learn morals and manners.

The heart of a mother is a deep abyss at the bottom of which you will always find forgiveness, as someone said. She is an epitome of selfless and self-sacrificing love, strength, composure, humility and generosity.

Let me quote a few lines from an Urdu poem paying tributes to mothers. Loosely translated it reads:

A mother finds piece only after her soul departs; even when mothers are young they look old as they spend all their time worrying about and meeting the needs of the children and other members of the family.
